Procedure

Phase A—Combine A ingredients in order listed with propeller mixing. Heat to 60-70℃. Mix until uniform. Phase B—In a separate vessel, combine Phase B ingredients in order under propeller mixing and heat to 60-70℃. Once Phase A and Phase B are fully uniform, add B to A with continuous mixing. Discontinue heat and allow solution to cool with mixing. Phase C—Once temperature is at 35-40℃, add C to AB with continuous mixing. Phase D—Add D to ABC until desired pH is achieved. Phase E—Add E to ABCD; mix until fully uniform, then transfer to a holding vessel.

Properties

pH—6.5-7.0; Viscosity—spindle 6 @ 60 rpm = 2,500 – 2,700 cst.
